As seen on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and Drunk History!
Ellie’s extensive credits also include BBC 1’s The John Bishop show, Dave’s As Yet Untitled, Channel 4’s 8 out of 10 Cats, Comedy Central’s Drunk History as well as playing lead roles in the new series Disney series The Lodge and Comedy Central’s Brotherhood.
You may also recognise Ellie as a frequent fixture on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show, a regular co-host on Heart Radio’s London breakfast show and of course as the host of BBC 3 cult hit ‘Snog Marry Avoid’. Later this year Ellie begins work on a new BBC 2 weekly topical show hosted by Nish Kumar due to start airing from July.
On the stand up front, Ellie’s solo stand up shows have been hugely successful. She debuted her first hour at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014 with her show ‘Elliementary’ which was a complete sell out, as was her follow up hour in 2016, ‘Infidelliety’, which she took on the road on her second nationwide tour including two run’s at London’s Soho Theatre. Ellie is currently writing a new show, ‘This Guy’ which she’ll once again take up to the Fringe in the summer, this time playing at the prestigious Pleasance venue before undertaking her biggest UK tour to date.
She is a confident and utterly hilarious performer; a breath of fresh air on the comedy circuit.
“She doesn’t miss a beat” – The List
“Charismatic, personable and bright” – Chortle
“An agile and commanding performer” – The Skinny
“Smart, self mocking, and telegenic. It’s hard to see what’s going to get in Taylor’s way” – The Scotsman
Ellie is available for hosting corporate awards ceremonies, or for after dinner sets.
She has established herself as a firm favourite on the corporate and comedy circuits and boasts a variety of event experience.
This includes hosting prestigious awards for clients such as IPA Media, The National Outsourcing Association, 24Housing and Sally Salon Services. Ellie has also performed for companies including CIBSE, Inkling London and Nomura Bank. Ellie is a natural when it comes to hosting and presenting. No matter what the room, her upbeat style ensures a great night full of fun and laughter, all while ensuring the night runs exactly as planned.
‘Ellie turned up hours before the event and took the time to talk us; finding out about our company, our the event and what we wanted to get out of it to ensure that both her own routine and our ceremony (which she hosted) were perfectly topical and tailored to us. Her routine was very funny and very smart. A great comedian and more generally, a lovely person.’
– Claire Barrance, National Freelancers Association
‘Ellie is a true professional and a genuinely lovely person. She is an artist that does her research in order to provide a more personal performance. I booked Ellie for an annual corporate industry event and she pitched her performance at exactly the right level – everybody loved her! Thank you Ellie, you have raised the bar for this event and next year will prove difficult to find a performer of the same calibre’
– Chris Meir, CIBSE
‘Ellie was FAB! Everyone loved her! Really great feedback from everyone at the event. Ellie provided the perfect end to the evening and was very, very funny’
– Catherine Allison, Inkling London
‘Ellie was fantastic, and helped create some really good video content – then she was a great host/reporter at our Awards Ceremony. All the young people really enjoyed meeting her and she was a joy to work with – always enthusiastic, funny and very much part of the team’
– National Science and Engineering Competition, Big Bang Fair
“Ellie is an outstanding host, both eloquent and witty, helping engage a mass audience of our employees. I would highly recommend Ellie”
– Anthony Harte, Nomura Bank
